The Gunners confirm new signing ahead of the 2016/17 season

The Gunnners are getting their guns ready ahead of the 2016/17 season.
Premier League title contenders Arsenal have reportedly acquired the services of Nigeria U17 midfielder
Kelehic Nwakali, as reported by The Sun. The midfielder’s agent also confirmed that the youngster’s move to Emirates Stadium is a done deal. He is expected to stay with the North Londoners for the next five years.
The Gunners have been hunting for the signature of the Bayern Munich and Man City target, who guided his countrymen to FIFA U17 World Cup glory last year in Chile. The 17-year-old will turn 18 in June this year, and is widely seen as one of the most promising talents from the African continent.
Initially, Arsene Wenger had confirmed the club's interest in the talented midfielder.
The Sun quoted the player’s agent as saying:
"Kelechi has signed a five-year deal with Arsenal. I won't be able to mention the exact transfer fee but it is above £2m."
Kelechi has previously been compared to former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira due to his playing style. Speaking about the confirmed deal, he said:
"I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can. With God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football."
