Kaka hits out at Real Madrid fans over their treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo

Following their 1-0 defeat in the Madrid derby, Ronaldo launched an astonishing attack on his teammates.

"If everyone was at my level, maybe we would be leaders,” he was quoted as saying by The Mirror after the loss at the Bernabeu.
"For all you guys [reporters] it seems I am s***, if I listen to what the press say. The statistics are there," he added.

Since then, some fans have turned on their skipper but former Madrid midfielder Kaka insists that the supporters are wrong for their attitude towards him.
“Cristiano is a great player, I am not just talking about his quality, but in terms of what he has contributed to Madrid,” the Brazilian told Cadena Cope, per Daily Mail.
“I would like to see the fans have more respect for Cristiano for what he has done for this club.
“Sometimes I hear whistles against Cristiano and it's not good after all he has done,” he added.
Kaka spent four seasons at Madrid, helping them to win the league in 2012. The midfielder, who is currently playing for MLS outfit Orlando City, was also the last person to win the Ballon d’Or before the dominance of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
