West Ham United have signed Manuel Lanzini on a permanent four-year contract with an option of
extending for a further two seasons.
Lanzini joined the Hammers on a season-long loan last summer from Al Jazira Club and he has shocked everyone in East London with how well he’s adapted to the Premier League.
West Ham have been so impressed that they’ve agreed to sign the talented playmaker for £9 million, according to the Daily Mail.
And Jack Sullivan – son of the club’s co-owner David Sullivan – has revealed that the 23-year-old has now signed a four-year contract with an option for a further two.
Lanzini has scored five goals for West Ham in the Premier League this season with his latest coming away from home at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.
He put the Hammers 1-0 up against the reigning champions on Saturday and delivered another strong performance on the wing before being taken off nine minutes from time.
In fact, his away performances all season have been quite special. Four of his five goals for the Hammers have come away from home in games against Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Liverpool and, of course, Chelsea.
