Confirmed: Class striker wants Mourinho reunion at Man Utd, hoping for transfer offer

Mattia Destro has revealed he’d consider an offer to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Destro, 24, was on Inter’s books during Mourinho’s spell at the San Siro, and was part of their 2009-10 Champions League winning squad – despite not actually playing any games in that competition.
He has since moved on to Bologna after enjoying a prolific stint at Roma, but has admitted he would be open to teaming up with Mourinho once again – at Old Trafford.
‘When I was a youth at Inter I played with great stars and working with a coach like Mourinho allowed me to mature a lot,’ he told Sky Italia.
‘If Mourinho called me about going to United, if I found myself in that situation, then I would have to think about it.’
Although Destro is a full Italy international with a decent goal-scoring record, it seems hard to see Mourinho moving for his former charge – although United could do with just about anyone up front at the moment.
