Chelsea Fans Very Annoyed With £200k-A-Wk Star In Defeat To PSG

“I’ll drive him to a Chinese club myself” – Twitter reacts to Eden Hazard’s display vs Paris Saint-Germain

Eden Hazard came under huge criticism on social media on Wednesday night as the Chelsea winger carded yet another disappointing performance as the Blues slumped out of the Champions League.
Guus Hiddink’s men welcomed Paris Saint-Germain to Stamford Bridge with it all to do after last month’s first leg, which saw the Parisians run out 2-1 victors at the Parc des Princes.
Although John Obi Mikel’s away goal meant Chelsea were still firmly in the tie heading into the game, the Blues would need a huge effort from their star players, with the home support hoping Hazard would rise to the occasion.
But having failed to score a single goal in the Premier League or Champions League this season, the writing was already on the wall for the 25-year-old, who created just one chance against PSG.

He not only proved insipid on the pitch, but also managed to anger fans after committing the cardinal sin of swapping shirts with an opposing player before the end of the game.

Hazard swapped jerseys with Angel Di Maria as the pair headed down the tunnel at the end of the first half, and after yet another poor performance it will have done no favours for his popularity in the stands.
Indeed, some supporters booed the Belgian star, who earns a reported £200,000-per-week (via the Daily Mail).
