Man United star sees doctor outside club to solve problem

The name Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt may ring a bell with football supporters. He's the guy who Pep
Guardiola annoyed so much that he left a role at Bayern Munich he'd held for over a decade.
Despite the doctor quitting Bayern Munich, several of the club's players still see him, both independently and through the Germany national set-up, with whom he has an official role.
One of the players who visits Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt is Bastian Schweinsteiger, with the midfielder seeing recently due to a 'Innenbandanriss' (ligament tear) issue, which we can assure you wasn't an easy sentence to write.
Schweinsteiger has been troubled recently by fitness and this week's edition of SportBild made a huge deal out of the situation. There were questions asked about his involvement with the Germany squad for Euro 2016, and whether he should continue as captain.
Unsurprisingly, Schweinsteiger has answered back. Speaking to German newspaper Bild, he rubbished doubts about his ability to captain Germany and said he should be back playing in March.
"In about five days I can begin to run, and five days later I should be training with the ball again. The medical team in Manchester and Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt are very satisfied. I think in March, I'll be fully back."
It's no slight on Manchester United that their midfielder is seeing an outside doctor, Schweinsteiger has worked with Müller-Wohlfahrt throughout his career and so it makes sense to get his advice.
