Man United send scouts to watch midfield star on Jose Mourinho's orders

MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly scouted Renato Sanches last Friday on the orders of expected new boss Jose Mourinho.

United and Juventus had scouts in attendance at Benfica's clash with Porto to watch the highly-rated young midfielder last week.
And according to Spanish newspaper AS Diario the Premier League club's representatives were acting on orders from Mourinho.

The report claims United could offer £30million plus £15m in add-ons to see off competition from the likes of Real Madrid.
AS claimed last week the La Liga club have made him a priority summer signing and Benfica are reportedly willing to listen to bids in the region of £46m.

However, Madrid will face competition from United and Juventus who were suitably impressed by Sanches' performance against Porto.
The 18-year-old provided the assist for Kostas Mitroglou's opener to secure a 2-1 victory in the Portuguese derby.
Juve are believed to be keeping tabs on the player as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a big-money summer move away from the Serie A side.
Sanches has made 17 appearances in all competitions this term scoring two goals and also made his Champions League debut against Astana.
