Pep Guardiola "would consider" Man Utd move

Pep Guardiola's move to Manchester City was believed to be all but sealed - yet now there are suggestions that he may prefer a switch to their rivals Manchester United.

Guardiola has confirmed that he will leave Bayern Munich next summer, with the expectation that City were in pole position to land the two-time Champions League winning boss appearing to rule out a move to Old Trafford.
United insiders briefed the media at the start of December to suggest they would not be interested in hiring Guardiola, even if current boss Louis van Gaal left before his contract expires in the summer of 2017.

Yet the noises from the Guardiola camp suggesting he may yet be interested in a move to United could alter the landscape of a story that is likely to dominate the soccer agenda in 2016.
The Daily Star quoted a source as saying: "Pep always found the club fascinating. He likes clubs with huge tradition and United certainly have this.
"He won't be short of options when it comes to deciding his next move and Manchester City are an ambitious club. But United could still prove to be the more attractive proposition."
Chelsea would also be keen to try and attract Guardiola to Stamford Bridge following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, with suggestions that the wife of the former Barcelona boss would relish the chance to live in London.
Yet Manchester appears to be the more likely destination for Guardiola, with rumours over his next move set to rumble on until next summer.
