Arsenal boss Wenger wants to sign defender of the year at all costs - report

 Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani at all costs, according to
reports.
The Gunners have long been linked with the Italian centre-back, who has played just three minutes for Juventus this season.
Despite that, the 21-year-old has been named in Serie A’s official team of the year, an award based largely on his exploits for Empoli last season.
Rugani was ever-present for Empoli last term, but Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini have prevented him from getting anywhere near that achievement this season.
According to Tuttosport, Arsenal are desperate to sign the youngster, who would likely be open to any sort of move given his current situation.
Juventus are understood to have already rejected a number of previous offers for the player, however.
