Report: Tottenham agree deal to sign exciting teenage striker

According to Spanish newspaper AS Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Nigerian teenager
Victor Osimhen after his outstanding showing at the under-17 World Cup.
The 16-year-old netted an incredible 10 goals in seven matches during the tournament and that record appears to have caught the eye of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The latest claims from Spain suggest that Osimhen will join Tottenham, although there is no suggestion as to when he will arrive in North London.

At just 16, and currently plying his trade at Ultimate Strikers Academy, it is likely to have been a relatively easy negotiation to convince the player to move to the Premier League, but until Tottenham come out and confirm the deal themselves it should still be taking with a pinch of salt.
Tottenham’s head of recruitment Paul Mitchell has a good eye for players but when someone is hitting double figures at such an illustrious tournament, it could be deemed a no-brainer to make a move.
Only time will tell if Osimhen does arrive at Tottenham and if he can replicate his performances for Nigeria’s youngsters at club level, but it is certainly a report to excite the vast majority of Spurs fans.
