Striker tells Jose Mourinho he will join Man United if he earns at least £220,000-a-week

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has reportedly told Manchester United he wants to join Jose Mourinho at the club, but only if he earns £11.3million per season.

Express Sport understands Mourinho's appointment as Louis van Gaal’s successor at United will be confirmed within the next 36 hours.
Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to join Mourinho at Old Trafford, although no deal has yet been agreed.

The Sweden captain confirmed earlier this month he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season after a four-year spell at the Parc des Princes.
And according to the Guardian, he has now told United he wants to join the club.

The report adds the 34-year-old’s agent, Mino Raiola, has told the Red Devils the striker wants at least £220,000-a-week to sign for the club.
Wayne Rooney is United’s current highest earner on £300,000-a-week.
