Van Gaal admits he could be “forced” to start this Man Utd ace

Van Gaal commented on his goal in training: “He scored a goal – he made a fantastic shot, a chip over the
goalkeeper. It was his first training session!” enthused the manager.
Furthermore, the Dutchman also revealed that Man United’s number ten is so talented that he could be forced to select him in his starting XI.

“He can be so good that I shall be forced to give him a position in the team but it is dependable on what we are seeing [each day],” Van Gaal explained.
The Red Devils boss also dropped a hint suggesting that Rooney could make his first-team return during Man United’s FA Cup quarter final-replay against West Ham United next Wednesday.
When asked if Rooney could return to action at Upton Park, Van Gaal said: “That you can never predict because you have to see if everything is going well.”
However, Rooney’s absence has allowed a star to be born in Marcus Rashford. The youngster has been a shining light for the Red Devils, as he scored twice on his debut and then days later,  bagged another brace on his maiden Premier League appearance against Arsenal.
