Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones both featured for Manchester United's Under-21 side on Monday night
Manchester United have been handed a big injury boost ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final replay clash against West Ham United on Wednesday night after Wayne Rooney made his return from injury for the Under-21s on Monday night.
Rooney has been out of action since February due to a knee injury but is now closing in on a comeback for the Red Devils.The Manchester United and England captain played 61 minutes at Old Trafford on Monday night as United sealed a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.
Defender Phil Jones also featured for the full 90 minutes as he bids to regain full fitness in the coming weeks.
