Aston Villa suspend Gabriel Agbonlahor after alleged laughing gas incident

Aston Villa have confirmed that Gabby Agbonlahor has been suspended, after photos emerged of
him on a night out the day after the Villans were relegated.
Villa’s relegation was confirmed on Saturday afternoon, after they lost 1-0 at Manchester United in the North West.
It compounded what has been a horrific season for the club – Villa have won just three league games all season and had three managers – and things appear to be getting worse everyday.
David Bernstein and Lord Mervyn King resigned with immediate effect on Monday afternoon, and Agbonlahor is the latest to cast more darkness on the club.
The 29-year-old, who is currently their longest-serving player, was sent on a two-week fitness programme last week after putting on weight.

And to make things worse for the forward, the club have confirmed that he has been suspended after pictures were shown online of him up to no good.
“Aston Villa Football Club has today suspended Gabby Agbonlahor pending an internal investigation,” a statement read on their official website.
“This is following allegations concerning his conduct at the weekend.
“There will be no further comment from the Club in relation to this matter until the investigation has been completed.”
The pictures released by The Sun show Agbonlahor partying after Aston Villa’s relegation, with the striker taking ‘laughing gas’ on a night out.
The photos come just weeks after Agbonlahor was suspended by the club for being pictured smoking shisha in Dubai, while partying with other Premier League players.
