I'd Like To Play For Man Utd: No.14 Forward Reveals Interest In Joining The Red Devils

Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao has said that it would be a “dream” for him to play
for Manchester United, but remains fully focused on his current club.
Keita has been with Lazio since 2011 and he is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young attackers in Europe.
This season he has scored four goals in Serie A, whilst also registering two assists.
Speaking to Italian radio station TFM (via the Daily Star), Keita has revealed his “ambition” is to play for the likes of United.
“It’s true that I’ve had good offers from other clubs, but I’m focused on Lazio, I have a contract still until 2018 and for the moment I’m staying here,” said the 21-year-old.
“My ambition is to get to play for one of the best teams in the world like Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester United – that’s every young guy’s dream.
“I’m calm – Lazio is a great team with a fantastic structure. Lazio is the team I signed my first professional contract with. The club has helped me a lot.”

It’ll certainly be interesting to see whether or not Keita makes his dream move in the future, though he’ll likely need to make a bigger goalscoring impact to make biggest clubs take notice.
He has impressed in other areas of his game though – for instance, winning a higher proportion of his duels (57%) than all but two outfield teammates in 2015/16.
However, Lazio’s no.14 is the type of player who could thrive at Man United. Old Trafford is currently a hot bed for young players and the club aren’t afraid to trust youth, as proven by Anthony Martial – a youngster the club spent heavily on and have given lots of first-team responsibility to.
Lazio have been disappointing in Serie A this season and they are just eighth in the league, with the club really capable of challenging for a place in the European places.
