Anthony Martial has described Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford as two top talents and is expecting to see big things from the duo in the future at Manchester United.
The pair have earned plenty of new admirers for their impressive performances for the Red Devils in recent weeks following their promotion to the first team under manager Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.Rashford, 18, further enhanced his glowing reputation by scoring the winner in the Manchester derby at Etihad Stadium before the international break.
And Lingard has also been a regular fixture in the Red Devils’ first team in recent weeks.
Martial, who joined the Red Devils from Monaco in the summer transfer window, is a big fan of the United duo and has clearly been impressed by the pair this season.
Speaking in an interview with RTL, Martial said: “Honestly, they are two very good young players and they have helped us enormously this season and I hope that they will continue like that so that we can finish fourth or third in the league.”
Asked if he is jealous of Rashford playing in the number nine role, he replied: “No, not at all.
“I am very happy for him. He is scoring goals and that is the most important thing.”
All three United stars will be hoping to feature when the Red Devils return to action with a home clash against Everton on Sunday.
