Manchester United Player Ratings: Rashford, De Gea and Lingard shine in win over Arsenal

David De Gea: A couple more vital saves to add to his catelogue, and was helpless for both Arsenal goals

Guillermo Varela: Booked very early but toed the line thereafter, and gave the performance of a much more experienced player - 7
Daley Blind: Simple and effective. Dealt with everything thrown his way - 6 
Michael Carrick: Booked for an ugly challenge on Danny Welbeck but performed admirably as an emergency centre-back - 7
Marcos Rojo: Lost out in the air to Welbeck for the Gunners' first and then limped off before the hour - 6
Jesse Lingard: Provided an assist for Rashford's second and can be happy with his display - 7
Morgan Schneiderlin: Adds some stability to United's midfield but could be questioned over his part in Arsenal's opener - 6
Ander Herrera: Got lucky with a deflection for his goal but was busy in the centre of the park - 7
Juan Mata: Vital experience on the field but didn't dictate the play like we know he can - 6
Memphis Depay: Growing in confidence but had less of an impact than in recent outings - 6
