Man United launch £22.2m move for in-form Serie A winger

Manchester United have lodged a €28m (£22.2m) offer for Fiorentina’s impressive winger Federico
Bernardeschi, according to reports from La Gazetta dello Sport.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for La Viola this term, notching three assists and one goal for the Florence side in Serie A action to keep them in contention for a long-awaited return to Champions League action.
His performances have not gone unnoticed with Bernardeschi widely being tipped to break into Italy’s senior squad ahead of the European Championships this summer, and reports claim that he has attracted United’s interest.
It’s understood that the Manchester heavyweights have opened the bidding with a £22.2m offer with interest from across the continent beginning to gather pace.
Should Bernardeschi make it into Antonio Conte’s Azzurri set-up for EURO 2016 there’s every chance his value will increase, but the Red Devils seem intent on getting a deal done early.
