Chelsea and Man United told to consider Pochettino in managerial search

Chelsea and Manchester United have been urged by Liverpool legend Jamie Redknapp to consider
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino for their next manager, Daily Mail reports.
Current Blues interim boss Guus Hiddink is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign, while United are being tipped to replace under-fire manager Louis van Gaal with Jose Mourinho in the near future.

However, Redknapp believes that both Premier League giants should consider a move for the Argentine despite hinting that Tottenham should hand him a new deal following his latest performance.
“If I were Daniel Levy, I would be knocking on Mauricio Pochettino’s door with a huge new contract,” he said.
“Tottenham have had six managers in the last 10 years. Now they have one they simply have to keep.
“This summer it looks like Chelsea and Manchester United will be looking for new managers. They would be mad not to look at Pochettino.”
Pochettino recently registered a vital 2-1 away win against Manchester City yesterday as his side move into second place on the league table, two points behind leaders Leicester City.
Chelsea registered a 5-1 victory over Newcastle United at the weekend, but are still struggling in 12th place, while United suffered a 2-1 defeat to relegation battlers Sunderland as they find themselves six points off the top four.
