Arsenal's Ozil 'not so consistent' - Herrera

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has described Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil as "not so
consistent."
United are hosting Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, which follows both sides' midweek games in Europe. Arsenal take on Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday while United face Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday.
Herrera was widely criticised for his performance in the first leg against Midtjylland when United suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat. The United midfielder, though, has not been shy with his views, when discussing the London club's home clash with Barcelona.
The 26-year-old Spaniard told Marca: "Arsenal have Francis Coquelin, Ozil... [But] Mesut isn't so consistent, although he makes the difference when he's on his day."
Ozil's importance to Arsenal's attack is undeniable. As of the end of January, when Ozil created four or more chances this season, Arsenal won nine of 12 games. But they only won three of nine games when he creates three or fewer chances.
Herrera did have kind words for Ozil's Spanish teammate Santi Cazorla, who has been out with a knee injury since November.
"It's a pity that Cazorlita will not be there, as he always makes the difference," Herrera said.
Herrera, however, thinks Arsenal are a confident side this season and predicted that the game on Tuesday against Barcelona could be "equal."
"I think it's going to be harder for Barcelona this year," he said. "I think that Arsenal, aside from having some outstanding players, are brimming with self-confidence this season, both in the Premier League and the Champions League.
"That said, I think Barca are better. Not much better, but still better. It's going to be a great tie. I think it's going to be very evenly-matched.
"Barca switch between having the ball and playing without it. Arsenal like to dominate proceedings but are quick to break on the attack. That's why it's going to be a great game."
However, Herrera did warn that Arsenal might have to say their prayers if Lionel Messi is on form, saying: "If he has his day, there's little you can do.
"Of course, your job as the opposition is to ensure that he doesn't have his day, but if he is 100 percent on form and has his day, you can either pray or forget about it."
