Reports last night claimed that the Red Devils were just hours away from signing Dynamo Kiev’s Aleksandar Dragovic. However, today a completely different name has popped up on the United stratosphere and, rather than invest in their current campaign, it seems the club are looking to the future and investing in youth.
16-year-old Luca Ercolani is an Italian defender currently playing for Forli FC and today, he has announced on his official Instagram account that he has signed for Manchester United.
Uploading a series of pictures which portray his move to the Premier League side, Ercolani’s post even included a snap of the defender in a United training kit and an official club suit.
According to a report in Italy, United will pay just 66,000 euros for the young Italian and he is expected to join up with the United academy this week.
