Martin Odegaard Named as One of TIME's Most Influential Teenagers of 2015

For a 16-year-old nicknamed the "New Messi," it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Martin Odegaard has been named one of TIME's 30 Most Influential Teens of 2015.

The Real Madrid and Norway prodigy was listed alongside actors, sportspeople, and the U.S. President's daughter in the annual list.
He made his debut for the La Liga side in a substitute appearance against Getafe, replacing a little-known midfielder called Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half.

Odegaard, currently plying his trade with Real Madrid Castilla under coach Zinedine Zidane, will be hoping to play a greater role in Madrid's quest for domestic and continental crowns in the future and will be looking to help his national side qualify for Euro 2016 in next month's qualifiers against Hungary.
