Man Utd Ready To Spend Over £49m To Sign No.10 Star, LvG Wants Deal Done

 Manchester United are eager to finally sign Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker Harry Kane and
the Red Devils are prepared to pay more than £49 million to get the deal done, reports The Sun. 
The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for the Old Trafford outfit and the aforementioned source reports that the forward was one of Louis van Gaal’s priority targets in the summer.

The Sun claims that following United’s struggle to score goals against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup, Van Gaal is eager to add more firepower to his squad.
To make matters worse for the Dutch tactician, Wayne Rooney is still struggling to hit top form, having only managed just two Premier League goals this term.

The report claims that Van Gaal is prepared to pay over £49m – the fee Manchester City paid Liverpool for Raheem Sterling – to bring Kane to Old Trafford.
However, The Sun also suggest that that offer won’t be enough to sign him as Spurs value the 22-year-old at around £50-60m.

Spurs’ No.10 has made a rather slow start to the new campaign. Kane has bagged just four goals in ten Premier League games, with three of those strikes coming against newly-promoted Bournemouth last weekend.
However, Kane is confident at carrying the ball and the England international has already completed 18 take-ons this term.
