The Blues have now lost six games this season after losing to Stoke in the League Cup this week with their further gloominess with the Spaniard now wanting out.
Pedro opted to join the Blues after he felt they offered him the chance of regular action and showed the most interest, with them making a stunning swoop to snare the attacker from Manchester United’s grasp and pay the full release fee of £21m.
The attacker had reportedly agreed personal terms with United after chief executive Ed Woodward was apparently in Spain to conclude the deal.
But Jose Mourinho’s late intervention, living in London, and United’s lack of urgency made it an easy decision in the end for the player.
He scored and created a goal on his debut for the Blues and appeared to have settled quickly but has struggled with the demands on the English game since then, as well being a victim of the side’s poor form.
Despite moving for regular football he has now apparently told friends he is keen to return to Barcelona.
